One of the most important aims of the WFNS is to provide help in the education and training of neurosurgeons all over the world. For that specific purpose, it has an Education and Training Committee, in charge of the education programs of the Federation and of organizing courses, workshops and seminars in many different countries, always giving privilege to locations or regions where neurosurgeons should have difficulties in traveling to international meetings.
