During the second semester of 2007, Professor Maurice Choux successfully negotiated with the G. Surgiwear Limited of India the possibility of obtaining ventriculo-peritoneal shunts at a very low cost, (50 U$A each).
Last November in Nagoya, our President, Armando Basso signed an agreement with that company.
This represents an important achievement of our Foundation that will contribute to solving one of the most dramatic problems in the pediatric population, mainly in African communities.
