WFNS Spine Committee Workshop in Indonesia
A Workshop on behalf of Committee will be had in Surabaya, Indonesia on 5th and 6th of July 2008.
The theme of the Workshop is Cervical Spine. The highlight of the Workshop is Hands on Cadavers in collaboration with Medtronics and GESCO Surgical Company giving the participants choice to perform various types of procedures like Dissectomy, Corpactomy, Reconstruction, Plating, Laminoplasty, Lateral Mass Stabilization, Sub-laminar wiring etc.
Live operative procedures will include (subject to availability of suitable patients) Cervical Micro Discectomy, Laminoplasty, Lateral Mass Fusion, Cervical Corpactomy and Reconstruction with dynamic cages.
The programme will include lectures, symposia, interactive sessions.
There will also be a spinal quiz for young participants.

Spine 2008
The Neuro Spinal Surgeons Foundation of India will hold its VIIIth Annual Conference from September 26-28, 2008 (Spine 2008) in collaboration with WFNS Spine Committee. The Conference will be held in Gujarat with Dr Prakash Modha as Organizing President and Dr Parimal Tripathi as Organizing Secretary.
The theme of the Conference is
(i) Controversies in Cervical Spinal Surgery ;
(ii) Present status of Regenerative Therapy;
(iii) Functional Reconstruction of the Spine.
The highlight of the conference will be Live Operative Sessions and Hands on Workshops besides interactive sessions and symposia. Special preference will be given to free papers by young surgeons, prizes will be awarded.
