These include: brain tumors (under Dr. Turazzi), posterior fossa pathology (under Dr. Massotto), cerebrovascular (under Dr. Pasqualin), spine (under Dr. Faccioli), radiosurgery (under Dr. Gerosa), functional (under Dr. Gerosa), pediatric (under Dr. Mazza), interventional neuroradiology (under Dr. Beltramello) and severe head injury and neurosurgical intensive care (under Dr. Procaccio).
The fellow must participate even actively in the continuing education and training meetings that take place within the department weekly.
The fellow must bear all traveling expenses to and from Verona.
Accomodation is free, and lunch in the hospital is free. For the first 3 months, regardless of the length of total stay, the monthly sum of US$ 1000 can be given to the fellow.
Applications must be made to the WFNS Foundation, (Prof. Armando Basso, armandobasso@aol.com) who, after reviewing the applicants, recommends them to this International Fellowship Program. At the end of completing the fellowship satisfactorily, a Certificate is issued by the University Hospital of Verona and by the WFNS.
