The Central Office of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies was first established in Geneva, Switzerland in 1992, where it was temporarily housed in the WHO Headquarters, managed by Mrs. Jan Joseph. It was then moved to Nyon, Switzerland in March 2001, where it was set up as an independent office and remains there today. Nyon is approximately 15 minutes away from Geneva and its airport.
We very much regret to inform you that Mrs. Janette Joseph, who initially created and set up the WFNS Central office has recently resigned from the WFNS after 20 years of dedication and devotion, with her full heart and mind, to the administration and many activities of the WFNS. We wish her all the best and lots of happiness and success in her future endeavours - she will be greatly missed by us all.
