Dear Friends,

Mumbai Institute Of Neurosciences, under the aegis of World Federation Of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) is pleased to announce the Official Global Launch of Virtual CME Platform on Friday, the 29th May at 18.30 Hrs at the hands of Prof. Dr. Franco Servadei (President, WFNS) AND Prof. Dr. Madjid Samii.

We will introduce the capabilities and key features of the platform during the program. Your presence and attention is important to realize its enormous far-reaching potential. Following the launch, the platform will remain functional 24x7 and Neurosurgeons/ Neurosurgical Societies will be able to make use of it any day, any time after due process of registration (which is free). The key functionalities of the platform are:
  1. Repository of Cases (Post comments, questions on cases especially connected to Complications. Anyone reading the blog can enter, debate or discussion about the material presented)
  2. Virtual Learning(Conduct CMEs online)
  3. Webinars (Use the platform for hosting on-line Webinars by Members/ Member Societies - any day, any time! )
This idea to use digital technology to create a Repository Healthdata Information dedicated to the subject of "Complications in Neurosurgery", which can remain in perpetuity, was conceptualized way back in January 2019 along the sidelines of 2nd ICCN (http://iccneurosurgery.com). The platform has been developed meticulously and methodically over one year of dedicated efforts and we are happy that it materialized at the right time when the whole world is using digital media for ongoing interactions. The personal meetings, of course, have their own flavor, and we will miss social interactions, but our activities in the medical field do not stop. Even when the world once again opens up, this multivalent platform will continue to foster medical education by creating much a valuable healthdata repository which can keep growing and be referred to at any time.

We sincerely hope you will register and make use of the platform. Your opinions and solution to problems posted by younger colleagues will be extremely valuable. Annexed herewith is our  INVITATION CARD and AGENDA of the proceedings of the Formal Launch.

Looking forward to meeting you virtually on Friday 29th May 2020.

Thank you
