Hinduja National Hospital in Mumbai, India is a tertiary referral facility and national postgraduate residency training centre for neurosurgeons in India and is well known for acoustic neuroma surgery, skull base surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, neurooncology, pituitary surgery neuroendoscopy, minimally invasive neurosurgery, gammaknife radiosurgery, peripheral nerve surgery and the whole spectrum of neurosurgical techniques. Program Details:

The department of Neurosurgery, P D Hinduja National Hospital announces 2 international fellowships for a period of 3 months duration each for young neurosurgeons from developing countries. During their fellowships, the fellows not only have the opportunity to observe but also patient contact, including assisting in neurosurgical procedures (provided they get a temporary registration from Indian Medical Council). Fellows will be paid a stipend of Rs. 60,000/- (approximately equivalent to US $ 1000) per month as well as complimentary accommodation.

  • A copy of the diploma in Medicine or a certificate issued by the Faculty of Medicine.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • The letter(s) of recommendation.
  • A motivation letter
