Carlos Haya University Hospital Post-Graduate Training Center
Carlos Haya University Hospital belongs to the Spanish National Health System network, with a referral population area in the south of Spain (Costa del Sol) outnumbering 2,5 million inhabitants. Our 13 staff members (plus residents) cover almost all neurosurgical fields (see below), including also a trauma center with a large number of casualty emergency procedures. Costa del Sol area is also very much appreciated because of nice climate and touristic environment.
Miguel A. Arraez, MD, PhD, Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at Carlos Haya University Hospital (Malaga, Spain) offers 3-6 months fellowship period to neurosurgical residents/postgraduates. During this period, food and accomodation will be offered in a shared-double room at the hospital.
